The Sony NW-HD5 20GB Walkman – A great start but a place Horrible

The network of Sony Walkman has a storage capacity of not less than 20 GB and its battery is sufficient for more than 40 hours of continuous music. It is small, certainly compared to its storage capacity. The Walkman is a slim aluminum case that fits in your hands. It really looks like a fresh state of the art technology.

The operation of the Sony NW-HD5 is very intuitive. Again this Walkman comes with a lot op opportunity. The hard drive comes with the Walkmanthe so-called "G-Sensor" technology that protects it from knocks and sudden movements. The clear 1.5 inch dot matrix LCD screen is well lit at will. So you see there are a lot of advantages with this device.

But the downside there are, in our opinion unforgivable, omissions. The equalizer and the ability to improve performance only works if you play Sony's own ATRAC3 files. It can only add music to the player using the SonicStage program to convert WMA filesSony ATRAC3 standard automatically. Using the Windows Explorer to manage files is almost impossible. And to top it all, if you want to be able to use the NW-HD5 with multiple computers you need to register with Sony's own music service. Otherwise, that is off limits. Finally, the NW-HD5 has no remote control.

Let's face it the Sony NW-HD5 is a nice piece of technology, but with the addition of so many restrictions and conditions for its use of this device loses all itsattraction. Our advice is: "Let Sony know that we do not like the limitations imposed on us by the acquisition of another player."

Simply does not make sense that Sony is trying to force consumers to use their standards and putting a multitude of restrictions on them if they will not comply.
